Install our high quality skeg in your kit kayak or as a retro fit in your current wood or fiberglass kayak. All components are included. With our step by step instructions you will be able to install your skeg kit easily.
All operating hardware is under the deck and the skeg control knob is easily accessible recessed in the front deck near the coaming.
The skeg will provide directional control in bigger waters and will prove helpful on flat water days when the wind is building. The adjustable degree of retraction lets you use the skeg in varying conditions. The skeg can be lowered by degree to a total of a 5" drop.
The nylon tubing and solid stainless steel wire flow smoothly.
